What does everyone feed there bettas?
I feed my guys New Life Spectrum Betta Formula and every now and then I give them frozen bloodworms or forzen brine shrimp. But I mainly feed them the pellets.

Pellets (I don't remember the names, have different types, but I've put them in containers and some cut up and put into baggies for the little ones that come in, etc), live food, a recipe given to me by Oldfishlady which includes shrimp/spinach/garlic are the foods I give them- some will exclusively eat only pellets, while others will eat the other food.

TetraBetta pellets. I'm debating starting him on blood worms or something similar as a christmas treat as well tho.

NLF, the small fish formula. Frozen bloodworms. Added vitamins called vita-chem to speed color change/enhance color change. :)

I use Aquaeon pellets as the main food, and then I have some flakes and dried bloodworms as treats.

Aqueon, Attison's (for the time being), and Omega One pellets. Frozen bloodworms and fresh white worms when I can get them. Focus on the worms when conditioning, but still continue with the pellets to add variation.

Hikari, ZooMed and API pellets. They love the Hikari and ZooMed (I suspect because both contain garlic), and they'll eat the API if they haven't had the previous two beforehand.

Freeze dried blackworms and frozen bloodworms a couple of times a week.

My boys frown upon flakes.

I have 3 bettas, 2 of them get new life spectrum pellets, frozen bloodworms, and live mosquito larvae. My third guy is extremely bloat prone, and pellets seem to aggrivate his condition, so I just feed him frozen bloodworms and mosquito larvae. There are times when I catch moths lurking in my cabinet, whenever I see one I catch it in a napkin and feed it to he fish; they seem to enjoy it.

i've heard that hikari has changed their betta formula .. but the packages i have are the one's before the formula change where fish meal is the first ingredient .. i don't know how i'll be changing their feeding schedule when i run out of the good hikari formula .. but for now i have tons and won't have to worry about that for another year or so ..
