Badger,
I can only imagine your frustration at the poor fishkeeping of your brother. I applaud for educating yourself on how to take proper care of the fish you have taken into your care. Maybe you can just clean his tanks for him to keep his fish happy and healthy ? If I were your parent, I would be very proud of you . Keep us posted ok ?

Thanks Acaida...I doubt I'll be allowed near them again though. And that might be for the best as it's turning into a huge fight where everyone in my family thinks I'm nuts. I got the joy of removing a dead goldfish from my other brothers aquarium yesterday. I'm so sick of the way these two are allowed to get pets, then neglect them. This isn't the first time this has happened. My brother has had a guinea pig, and a bearded dragon. Both were re-homed via the shelter because he got lazy and didn't care for them. Mom says we get no more pets, despite the fact that I have always cared for mine. Fortunately/unfortunately, she doesn't consider fish worthy of living happy lives so we're allowed those. When I upgrade my tank I'm going to find a sick Petco betta to nurse back to health. God knows there's plenty of them. Wow this has turned into a long rant...sorry guys. xD
