Newest Walmart rescue

Okay, so i dont know if this is male or female, or if it is deformed or just skinny... Found him/her at Walmart today.

I am leaning towards female, because of the teensy ventral fins, and i think i saw an ovaposter earlier. Just a quick picture cause i dont want to stress him/her.

Very pretty!!! Based on the smallish ventral and anal fins I would say female too. The tail is a little long for a girlie though. GJ rescuing the lil fella/girlie :)

Lol, thanks so much. Even after watching him/her all night, im still not sure. Floated her/him in the sorority for a while, and they just flared all over, so rather than stress it i remover him/her and set the cup aside. I am doing two water changes a day in 2tsp/gal AQ salt water, and just leaving him/her in the cup.


Also, the columnaris is back, it took Valentine last night, and Mae is nearly dead this morning... >.< I think its going to take out my whole sorority despite my efforts of treatment... Looks like it is time to bring out the big guns... Jungle Fungus cure, here i come!

Very pretty. Hard to tell if it is indeed he or she! The drop on the cup messes me up too - hard to see the presence of a beard or not. We'd have to see him/her flare I think.

Very nice! It could definitely be a girl. I have a girl with long fins like that. I know she's a girl because I've seen her drop eggs. It's fun to have gorgeously finned female.

Mae is still hanging on, but another girl dropped while i was at work... This is so frustrating!

This rescue also built a bubble nest while i was gone, but that doesnt mean much, as i have seen my two oldest females build nests as well...
