Staying on bottom

Help, my Betta has been staying on the bottom of her bowl a lot for the past week. I thought at first it might be a swim bladder problem, but she is not bloated and she can swim, just not as well as she used to. Prior to this behavior I did notice a small buldge on her side in the area of her swim bladder, but nothing like what the photos of swim bladder disorder look like. It seems like when she relaxes her tail sinks and she just rests on the bottom in an upright position. We've had her for 1.5 years in a 2 gallon bowl with a heater. I change 100% of the water weekly. We first noticed this behavior a week ago, so fasted her for a few days and took half the water out of her bowl to make it easier for her to get to the top. On thursday I bought a 5.5 gallon tank and new heater. Her bowl was only about 72 degrees. I put 2 gallons in the 5.5 gallon tank so she has more room but still easy access to the surface. The new heater is keeping it about 76 degrees. I was hoping it would be a little warmer, but its not adjustable - just supposed to maintain a constant 78 (+/-2 degrees, unfortunately looks like mine is the minus 2 degrees). This same fish was dark blue for the first year and a half, then suddenly lost all pigment this fall and became clear. She was feeling fine at the time so we assumed the color change was caused by marbling. I will take some photos to post in a minute. I haven't fed her in several days. I may try now and see if she will eat. Thanks for any advice.

Here's her current tank set up, and some pictures of her resting on the bottom, swimming, and the before/after from her earlier color change. I just fed her 3 pellets and she was happy to eat.

I also want to share two photos of this buldge which I noticed on her right side two months ago (the blue arrows point to the buldge). I think it is in the area of her swim bladder, but she had no obvious trouble swimming until this past week. And the buldge is actually LESS noticable now. I searched this board a month ago and found a similar photo of another betta with a similar buldge and no one seemed to think it was a problem - that fish was also acting fine at the time. But now that she is having trouble swimming, even though the buldge is less noticable, I wonder if it has something to do with her problem.
