I love butternut squash. You can use it in sooo many recipes. I'm kinda the same way about meat. I don't eat it often and when I do, it's in small portions. I have been an avid vegetarian before, but I really just love seafood too much. As for fruits, most fruits will stay good quite a while in the fridge. I've honestly never had problems with them turning bad faster than vegetables.

Well...I just thought of something...I am not crazy about portebella mushrooms..But I dont mind them if theyre in something and cut up pretty small..

its not so much the flavor I dislike but the texture...I especially dislike the underside of the mushrooms texture..haha

I have to say that I can agree with you on texture issues. Nothing like a grainy piece of broccoli or yam. XP

Brussel sprouts stink to high heavens! Not many vegetables I don't like. One that I don't care for much is carrots. I'm a lot pickier with fruits. I don't like fresh raspberries and I don't care much for any type of melon... with a special dislike for watermelon. Nope. Never liked it. Never will.
