what tail type is she?

So I got my new female betta hoping she's an HM to breed with my male HM. So what tail type is she? and what coloring? is she a cambodian red? salamander? or what?

She looks to be a plakat, I'd say combodian. Are you 100% sure she's female? She has the potential to be a male. XD Her fins are rather large. Does she have an eggspot?

uhm, not really sure, but when he/she flared he/she has a beard, does that mean that she's a male?

An eggspot is the white dot around the stomach area. A full beard? The same size as the other male you have? If so, then yes... a flaring picture with the beard included would help, but judging from the pictures your girl looks to be a boy. :P

Looks like a female CT to me, but it's hard to tell with her tail so bad at the moment... very pretty colors :) love the pink!

To me she looks like a cambodian delta or VT girl. If she was HM she would be able reach 180 with her tail like a male HM.

yeah she/he has a very pretty pink color on her/him I was thinking that she might be a deta aswell, but not really sure bout it

Yup, I see an eggspot- and now that Monroe mentions it she does look like a bit of a CT- never considered that. XD Though her dorsal would say otherwise.

Since she's definitely not a HM, though maybe a delta- I'm not too sure- I wouldn't breed her to your HM boy; if she's a CT, which there's a good chance she is, your frys' fins would come out pretty messy, and would take a couple of generations to fix- and if she's a PK you'd get mainly short-fins. If you do decide to breed her, wait for 2 weeks or so to quarantine her. Her fins will be mostly grown in by then, too.
