I'm a bleeding heart...

3 bettas at wal-mart, 1 dead, A CT in almost no water do to leaky cup and a VT swimming in it's waste. Solution to this problem? Bring them home. The CT is having issues swimming but it's not SBD. He swims with his back really arched and his tail way down. I'm not sure what is going on. With almost no water in his cup I didn't notice this at the store. The VT perked up right away and has been flaring at everything. Please don't freak out about their tank it's only temporary.

Good on you for bringing these two home. Gorgeous coloring on them, almost a magenta.

Regarding your CT- I've had one do that, and he was perfectly happy and healthy- so as long as it doesn't present him with any problems about getting air, I wouldn't worry about it.

I have a small CT male who does that same thing. He also bloats very easily though, so I suspect he has SBD issues. Congrats on the new additions! They're very pretty and I'm so glad they got a happy ending.

Thanks . I was going to rehome the VT because I don't really have room, especially with a Betta from Chard coming next week but he's grown on me. I really love his color. My bf told me I have an addiction and need help, lol. I said it could be worse. I'll probably end up on animal hoarders some day .
