My shrimp tank

I purchased 5 ghost shrimps about a month ago (maybe?) and 3 of them have survived living with my bettas! I decided to put them in their own tank though so they can live without fear of becoming a snack. I never saw these guys when they were living with my bettas. I put them in with the decorations I stopped using with my bettas for various reasons. I'll call them Larry, Curly and Moe.
I'm thinking of maybe adding a few RCS too. These guys are in a 3G kritter keeper on my computer desk. They sure do crawl around a lot more without bettas in the tank! :)
I put a heater in with them since I read that they prefer temps between 70-78. and its supposed to get down to 27 outside tonight & they're by a window.

Well I have kept them in tanks with light colored gravel up until now. So i'm not sure.... lol

Dont add RCS.. The Ghost shrimp will Eat smaller RCS..

ah ok. I may not do any more shrimp anyway. I'm down to 2 ghost shrimps now.

If it were me I would finish off that last ghost shrimp or move it back in with the betta.. Then get some Cherry Shrimp or maybe crystal shrimp & make it a real shrimp tank.

Currently I have a 29g planted that just for shrimp & snails while the plants grow out. Its still fun to look at.
