blocked her sight of my male so they don't flip out posing back and forth... her stripe is back already.

How is her coloring? still red? or did it darken to the grayish color?

Give her time to adjust, the way she colored up when you separated her is pretty shocking! I have both my giant girls in their own containers. Ones a PK and I don't want her to become the tank bully, the other is the spade tail and I don't want her tail getting nipped up from the females fighting for territory.

I have to agree- even though she came from a tank with other bettas, a sorority may not be right for her. My girls color up and darken when they are next to a male as well- but they don't have stripes otherwise, just not as colored.

Does her QT tank have plants in there? I would set her up in a permanent home with plenty of plants medium/tall to allow her to feel secure. And then just give her time to adjust and settle down.
