Hermiette gets a surprise

Hermiette is a female betta I rescued from some serious neglect and collumnaris last month. She was from a LPS. She original came with a few other females, which have all found homes after some QT time. (Made some people pretty happy for Christmas!)

Now Hermiette had been staying in a 10g to herself during her treatment but it broke last week. Currently seeing if I can fix it with my awesome caulking gun and silicone. Well she had to stay in a 1gallon bowl for a good week until Santa Claus came early this year, just for her!

Here are some pictures of the bubble nest she made today while in her bowl. She was pretty happy despite the small quarters. Well these are pics of the remnants of her bubble nest!

Oh and if you see a toddler in awwww of the bubbles, that would be my little girl Abby.

She has been good this year and you can see it with the gift Santa brought her! ( Don't mind the bubbles, newly set up and all!)











If anyone is wondering why she is called Hermiette, it is due to the fact that her gender was a bit of a mystery for a while. Hermiette as in hermaphrodite. xD My daughter calls her Her-meet-tet

she looks and acts just like my Caroline did! Caroline was a female cambodian veil, like yours, and made bubble nests. :3 it actually makes me tear up to see your girl, because she looks IDENTICAL to Caroline....

She makes huge nests everyday. Its amazing. I honestly thought she could be a late blooming male at first because of the size of them. They are bigger than most males I've had.
