I'm back, with betta news.

It's been one heckuva month .... BUSY STRESSED and BUSY.

My betta numbers have, sadly, been significantly reduced. There was a disease outbreak and several of my guys passed away one right after the other. I have no idea what caused so many deaths ... but they went quickly and rather unpleasantly.

RIP Kryptonite, Golem, Raja, and Honey (especially Honey ... I'd had him since June, he was my baby.)

It was so hard losing them that I fell into a bit of self doubt about my betta care. I gave a few more away to friends and they are taking care of them splendidly. Right now I have five boys: Tigger, Skipper, Dill, Bello and Oatmeel. I'm going to stick to five at least until after Christmas.

So ... that's it. Just thought I'd give a hello, especially to all the new members! Happy betta keeping, everyone, as always.

I'm sorry to hear about that. It's not easy losing a betta...but to lose several of them? That's hard. I hope that you can relax a bit more and life can be a little less hectic for you :)

Sorry to hear about your losses :( Thats my biggest fear, having so many, that I'll loose a chunk of them at once. ((hugs)) and welcome back!
