Yes! hes actually really cute! I didnt know how colorful he was when he was with my roomate. He now has a skyblue coloring, with red streaks through his tail :)

The fungal form of fin rot will eat away the fins in a more even and uniformed form, but it will eat the fins away just the same until it hit the body and attacks it.. since he is a CT, you won't really see the uniformity of it.

The AQ salt won't do anything for the fungus, but your fungal guard tabs should work. Daily 100% water changes along with the tabs and that should be fine to stop it. If not then Fungus Eliminator by Jungle, API Fungus Cure would do.
Thank you! how much of the tab should i use? the tank is just 1 gallon and the tab directions say "add on tablet to each ten gallons of aquarium water"
