He is a soft brown and purple butterfly VT and she is an irridescent purple VT (pretty sure VT). she's darkened so much, and his nest has tripled in the last 4 hours which is good. They are pretty close :)

And I cannot wait to see your spawns :p

Ooooh hopefully you get lots of purples :D Marbles is a red/blue marble vt (I think, though her tail is way bigger than my other obviously-vt-females), and Sheldon is a pastel halfmoon :D NO idea what i'll get outta these two, but they're pretty cute so far :P

Ohh sounds pretty! When I get a camera (christmas!) I want to post Shadow's pic. Wouldnt mind him as a breeder, except he is more "meaty" and his tail is weird think of a doubletail. That... Instead of two tails, it's combined until the end where it looks like the top of a pperfect heart :o not sure what the heck happened there not a bite spot though.

Sheldon has let a bunch just stay on the bottom, but there's still quite a few left up in his nest. I'm wondering if the ones down there arent viable and he knows it. I hope thats the case lol. I'm tempted to steal some and try to artificially hatch them (if I can) lol. I think Sheldons getting really exhaused, poor guy. too many eggs to keep up with now that marbles is outta there

Interesting...a lot of the eggs were falling down, because he doesn't really have much of a nest anymore, they don't seem to stay up as well when they're just on the surface. Skyline, mr huge-bubble-nester, had a huge nest going so I took some of his bubbles and put them in with Sheldon..WELL. Sheldon is now using the bubbles and moving the eggs over to there. Lol odd.

That's interesting...I never thought to borrow bubbles from another male's bubble nest.

Haha xD I know it sounds weird to do that but I had to merge my male's 2 random nests together since he went to the old one and the female was waiting under the other one x.x sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do lol. And this being your bettas first time it's not surprising he isnt do a terrific 100% awesome job lol keep doing what your doing!
