Need help! i'm not sure of tail type!

okay, i bought prince as a VT, and he had badly torn fins.
A week ago, i noticed that his anal and dorsal fins where spiked, but i didn't say anything. today i saw him flaring at his food, and it looked like he was a crowntail.
Of course, he had a veil tail,
but it's jagged.
I don't know is he's a combtail or a tail biter who happened to bite it this way.
Help!

I agree, a better pic of him flaring would help us define his tail.

He could be a mix of a veil and a crown tail. I would probably rule out tail biting as it looks more like shreds.
I pic of him flaring will help a lot.
