I love dragon girlies <3

This is Pandora. She's not the prettiest right at the moment, but I know she's got some glamour to show. She's also my first dragon female!

She was in a tank full of cichlids and male PKs (OH believe me, after the Holidays are over, the store's getting it ). I thought at first that she was just a small male, but in better light I laughed to myself for not seeing the ovi.

She's pretty beaten up, and has some aggressive finrot going on. I'm so happy for her though since she finally ate a bloodworm. She's definitely not out of the woods yet ... I'm really hoping to see her fins get healthy again. She's being dosed with BWE and a little bit of AQ salt, but I might have to resort to meds if it get's really bad.

Pics aren't the best since she keeps swimming out of focus, lol

This is why I was so confuzzled at first ... she made a little bubblenest <333

And she's being cute ... but her poor fins.

Showing off her "belly button" :)

Forgot about this post! She's doing much better right now. No growth on her fins yet, but I'm sure she just needs time. I really can't wait to see her true colours ... she was in a tank with red and yellow dragons who I assume were her siblings. I have more pics coming :)

Red and Yellows, huh?
She might just be a mix then.

As for her fins, give her protien and slightly more heat in the water. I notice that if my guys sit at about 80*F, then tend to regrow fins after tail biting episodes a lot faster. But heat promotes blood flow, so that might be a factor in the healing process. I wouldn't go above 80*F though.
