Betta STILL Bloated

I posted a while back about my veil tail being bloated and lethargic. Since then I put him in a 1 gallon by himself and did daily water changes with Epsom salt. Now, 2 weeks later, I put him back in the divided 10 gallon that he shares with 1 other male for now (the other died this morning, I've done 2 water changes since then though). He's not lethargic anymore and is acting completely normal but he's STILL bloated. What can I do for this? Water parameters are fine btw.

And just so you know ever since he stopped growing he's never been a thin fish...he's always had a bit of pudge.

have you tried a blanched pea yet? He could be constipated and having trouble moving it.

You need to blanch a pea. A frozen one. Not a canned or fresh one. Take the frozen pea and put it in a small bowl with a bit of water. Nuke it for like 20 or seconds or till the water is boiling pretty heavily. Take it out and carefully take the peal off. This should be easy once it is properly blanched. Mash the inside section of the pea into a fine past. Feed tot he betta once cooled. Now I usually make the betta fast for a day. This makes the betta more likely to eat it. If they don't eat it remove and try again after a bit more fasting.
