Thinking of getting a new fish: ENABLERS WANTED!

So after a few days of looking at Kai's old tank and watching Lelouch...I concluded...

It's just not the same without two fish. T-T; I need reasons to buy another fish when the RO water I use typically is hard to get right now...I could just get away with declorinated tap water right?

(Also: The heater is effing up so...I'd need to get a new heater too.)

I use city water that you can't drink without filtering, my fish do great in it :) It's high pH too. I am sure you'd be safe with your water, just switch slowly. Or even dilute it with natural spring water? I think people recommend that...

Anyways, get another!! 1's not enough, 3's too many, 2's all you need :P

I use tap water with prime, everything fishy I've had has done fine in it! No need to worry! :U

Good points on both parts. I have a declorinator I think I shall use it...After the holidays I'll spring it. (Besides I want to try females again...And I got a cute name picked if I do get a new girl: Noel. *shot*)

well water with Prime is all i use. only issue i have is, it's too hard for CT fins. :U no issue, since i gave up CTs when i saw what it did to three CT's fins. :d so far, King Steve's fins are great, but still.. xD

Hmm well I only got the TetraBetta or something like that declorinator and that's all it says is betta safe. I...Honestly am not sure if I just have bad luck with certian tail types or what...I don't plan on giving up now though...When Kai died I was really upset and even said I thought of quitting but...I just can't.

My gold fish live in a 50 gallon tank...No bettas there! Anyway, all I use is water conditioner with my VERY HARD water, and my bettas to just fine in it.
