Goodbye Spartan :( (pic heavy)

Age 2.5, been through a heck of a lot - I got him when he was very young (between 5-6 months) and soon I had him gentle and sweet, he'd sit in your hand, he'd never attack another fish, he held his fins grand all the time He's survived a mystery poisoning, even a tumor on his side - which wasn't even the death of him. Lately he's had a deteriorating jaw, lost the skin there and it was best he was euthanised...

I'm so sorry, Sena. He was a stunning guy with amazing colors and he was a fighter, wasn't he? He knew he was loved, never doubt that. :) *hugs*

Yeah...a real fighter. which makes it hard, because I used the clove oil method - and he took double the dose before he'd actually pass

You did the right thing. It's hard, so hard to let them go in that way but you said the quality of his life had gone downhill so you made the right but very hard decision. In a very difficult way, that decision is the ultimate proof of love because you didn't want him to suffer even if it meant you had to let him go.
