when did you get your betta?

Sme betta will not eat for 1-14 days when they are new to your home. I know this for a fact :) or, if you have had them for a while and suddenly they stop eating...something else is wrong.

in that case, what is the size of tank, how often and how much it is cleaned, temperature, any changes in his behavior?

I have 1 male who I've had about a week and five females (in a seperate tank) that I've had just under a week. The tanks are both densley planted 10gallons. I gravel clean 30% once a week.

Okay sounds like you are doing everything right... And celsius I see :) (hoorah, a number I comprehend ) the temperature is great, even at 24. keeping it above room temperature is a good idea. Have they eaten since you got them? were there changes to their environment? do you use tap water conditioner?

No environment changes since I've had them, they had bloodworms which I think they ate and yes, I use stress coat and stresszyme.

Stress coat is used with tap water conditioner... tap water conditioner neutralizes the chlorine in the water.

Any changes at all physically? are they not swimming as much? bouyancy issues? bloated? are their gills healthy pink? gasping?

I do not know how much of bloodworms you feed... and I assume freeze dried? if only feeding freeze dried this can cause SBD, swim bladder disease, which can cause bettas to stop eating sometimes.

bettas

I fed them frozen blood worms. I don't see much of the girls but Henry looks healthy enough. The girls come up and swim around sometimes and they seem fine.

My male didn't eat at all for a couple weeks at first but once he started he eats daily. If I get near the tank he's looking for food. I give him 4 pellets or so and after a couple minutes he'll usually eat 3 or sometimes all of them. I fed him a couple hours ago tonight and his belly looks nice and plump He's a big eater, like me.

Ahh ok. make sure to get your bettas pellets, to avoid constipation and possible SBD problems.

Also, michaelp is right - sometimes bettas won't eat when they are new. or rarely will eat. Give him time :) you can fast him for a day, even.
