I.D These Tails

So I need help identifying two of my boys tails. When I first got Chai he was marked as a HM, but I wasn't positive if he was one. He was small so I figured I would wait until he got bigger to see if he developed more. I'm still not completely convinced he's a HM. Maybe a delta? Not sure. Anyways here's a couple pictures of Chai, lemme know what you think he is!

And then there's my new boy Sprout. He's also very small. He was only marked as a dragonscale, and I thought he was a VT because his tail was a big clamped together when I first got him. Now it seems to always be very open. Any ideas on what his tail is?

Thanks so much to anyone that can help! c:

They both look like deltas to me, but what do I know. :P Maybe if you could get a picture of them flaring?

I'd say that both are deltas, but keep an eye on them!! They could turn into HMs when they grow up a bit!!! Sprout doesn't look well at all. That bent spent is pretty alarming. I'd keep him seperate from the other fish. It could be genetic, but a spine that's bent like that can also be a sign of fish TB (don't panic, unless your immuno-suppressed, it rarely ever passes to humans).

Thanks guys! Sprout is new, I've only had him for a week. He's skinny, tiny and does have a pretty severe spine deformity. I felt terrible for him and couldn't leave him at the store to die a miserable death. He's actually doing very well now though. He's putting on weight and acts like any other betta, he just looks a little silly :] He's separated from the other fish.
