Unhappy Spots on anubias

As of late, there have been spots developing on my anubias. I'm not sure what's causing it, if it's dying or anything... so has anyone had experience with this and knows what to do? At the moment, I've been trying to get rid of some green algae that's been growing in my tank- I haven't been adding any fertilizers and I've had my light on a schedule for 5 hours, 1 hour no light, then 6 hours with light. Today I've just taken another hour off to make it 10 hours so that it might help to get rid of the algae more.... but I'm worried about my anubias and am afraid that less light would possibly cause the plant to die off even more.... Here are a couple of pics to show what it looks like at the moment:

Sorry for the blur, the only camera I have is 2.5mp, so the quality is basically crap....
