Question fish friends?

I recently got a 3 gal with a small air pump and lights, i put my fish adrian in it but he looks so lonely, is there any way that i could put a tankmate or two in? If so what would it be? right now i have a gravel bottom, an roman Colosseum piece about 3 in, and a budget of 28 dollars. thanks you!

You can't really put fish in that small oof a tank, he shouldn't be lonely. His gestures may seem like it but until he literally speaks to you you cannot have another fish in there lol. A couple ghost shrimp or a snail is the only things you can get. Your male may kill the shrimp if there isn't enough cover and also, you will have to feed the snail and the shrimp.

Snails and/or shrimp only, I'm afraid. Both could get eaten though. :P I'm afraid in a tank that small those are your only options. Besides, bettas don't get lonely, hehe. ^^

also would the small airstone in my tank stress out my betta or is it fine? it's in a center sort of plastic tube with a guard so he can't get in, and the bubbles just go to the surface.

The air stone shouldn't bother him. My guy likes to try to eat his bubbles! Of course, each betta is different, so keep an eye on him, but I don't think it should cause any problems.
