Cool My new Betta.. OMLETTE

I rescued him yesterday from Pet Supplies Plus when he lived in a little plastic cup next to other bettas. Half of them were ill, with their fins all shredded and blackened, and a couple were dead. It was a choice between the 2 healthiest fish... the teal one or the red one... Well, I noticed that the red one wasn't flaring, and the "gill fluff" inside of his gills looked like it was hanging out.. not a good sign, eh? Well I bought the blue one, and an added bonus is that he matches my bedsheets, my walls, and my budgies (lol)! Tell my what you think :)

about the top middle above the message box there's a little picture of a paperclip. click that and you can attach an image straight from your computer. it's not available on the quick reply box at the bottom of the page though. you can use the "post reply" or "go advanced," also there when you make a new thread

He is very pretty. I'm sure with plenty of clean, warm water he will be 100% very soon. Blue is my favorite color LOL.

I'm doing a Kosher salt treatment right now and have moved him to the dining room next to the wood burning stove... he's so active now and friendly, always in the corner of the tank closest to me! I'm happy I moved him to a triangular tank (I realized the vase was only 3/4 gallon and the tank is 1 gallon) and he's livened up now. There's also a 2-inch sprig of Anacharis I poked into the gravel. He seems surprised whenever he sees it... I'll post more pics soon because the one is very pixelly :3
