Whats the best brand of heater to use to heat up tanks? Im in need of a few for some tanks for my bettas and was just curious which ones out there are the best to use and how much they typically cost

Elite Mini Heater Is Great, have used and they work well even w/o a filter

$10 for 25 watt, unsure how many watts you need.

Hydor Theo- Just bought one works great but only if it's near a water circulation source i.e. filter

A bit more, but much easier to adjust.

Both Submersible and fairly cheap. Let me know what you pick....Oh and also if you want to pay a lot (or more at least) These are very hight quality and good, never used one myself but heard many good things and you can even re-calibrate it if it gets out-of-whack so to speak after time

I use the Aqueon Pro and Fluval. Both are 50w and rated for a 10-15 gal tank. Both work like a charm and I believe can be found at Petsmart. The Aqueon Pro is completely submersible and can be placed horizontal in the tank to create convection currents.

Well I got a Tetra heater for 30-60 gal aquariums. You can adjust the temp(I got one for a bigger tank because the other one I have is for a 10 gal and it keeps temps cooler then id like) so im giving this a test run to see how it goes.. If all else fails, ill return it and go to the pet store lol.. It was the only thing I could find at walmart :p
