I don't normally post here but for you, I will. You were my little fighter and you battled your illnesses right until the very end. For weeks now we've fought your camallanus worms, your fin rot, and your bacterial infection. You swam around your little 1 gallon hospital tank and didn't complain about the meds, the cupping out for the water changes, or even the fact that your next door neighbor wouldn't stop flaring at you until I drew your "privacy curtain" (put a magazine between the tanks). Even when you started pineconing, you were zippy enough to fight the cup for your daily water changes. You had so much spirit.
I'll always remember you and the funny things you did. How you refused to eat anything but frozen bloodworms. How you nommed off all your fins after the cat fell in the tank next to yours. How you never flared. How you were the most non-aggressive betta I've ever seen.
Yes, you'll always be rememberd, my little friend. I'm sad to see you go but glad you have finally found peace from your long battle. Rest easy, you've earned it.
