Tank sale at Petco? Oh no!

I just got back from browsing at Petco and found out that the one in my area is having a sale on aquariums, Aqueon brand to be exact. 1$ per gallon!!! The smallest tank on the wall display was 5.5g, I'm looking into a 10g. The stickers said the sale lasts until Jan 21st. (I honestly don't know if this sale is at other petcos)
Now I just have to find a place (other than the floor) for my little guy's future home. He has a 1.5-2g. I'd have a 100g tank for him if I could afford it, but thats the biggest thing for me, I can't afford a big tank for over $40.. I was lucky to find the tank I have, clean and $4 at Goodwill.

Or even, get a divider and another betta?! They had a lot of different bettas to choose from, and the temptation is nearly too much!

Badjer - I can't say for sure but I think its all Petcos (they have this type of sale every once in awhile).
AllureaLycia - welcome!
I plan on getting a 10G at the sale myself and I'll be dividing it either 2 or 3 ways (I already have the bettas though)
there is a chance they'll have some cheap-ish tank stands there too.
Just make sure to get the right sized hood and a heater and filter - and of course all the decorations :)

They can see each other through the mesh!

That's no big deal so long as they can't get through it or over it. They'll get used to each other after a few days.

This sale was at my local petco as well.
I went from going to get about 15G tank to getting a 29G.

Boy those sales really got me good.
