Artificial Plants

I have a new betta (sold as a dragon-scale betta). I decided to go with artificial plants in his aquarium and, unfortunately I purchased them before I discovered that silk plants are best. Two of the plants have leaves with rounded edges and they should not pose a threat to betta fins. I am concerned with the third plant (it is the pink plant pictured in my avatar/profile photo). It does not damage pantyhose when brushed against them, but I'm sure it could if enough pressure was applied. Would it be okay to leave the plant in the aquarium until a replacement can be purchased? or should it be removed immediately?

It should be fine. Generally speaking short finned bettas don't have issues with fake plants.. it's just the longer finned bettas that can get their fins caught on the plants.

If you see any tears later on then I'd pull it out but I think it should be fine.
