Hello, I'm AzureFish and I am new to the forum. I just got a new "dragon-scale" betta for my son as his first pet (I am the fish's primary caregiver). This is not my first fish or my first betta. I had a very spunky little betta while I was in college that I loved and later a saltwater aquarium with percula clownfish. It has been a while since I have had/maintained an aquarium and owned fish and I really appreciate the wealth of information that this forum provides. Thank you for the opportunity to correspond with other betta lovers.

I just discovered that Holden (our betta) was mislabeled a dragon-scale and may actually be a Turquoise/Butterfly Delta Tail Plakat. Sounds kind of like a mutt to me, but I think he is beautiful. I will post pictures tomorrow.
