Question Male? Female? Confused!!

I got 5 bettas from a local breeder and only paid $5 for all 5 (the 4 females were free). I ended up giving 3 females to a friend and kept the male and a female. My male (or at least I thought he was a male?...the one in my avatar), died a couple weeks ago. My female? however is doing amazing. I went to my friend's house a few days ago to care for her fish while she was on vacation and her females actually look like females (the ones from this ones same fry)....

Here is "Pearl" when I first got her at 3.5 months old....

Here "she" is at now about 5.5 months old (taken a few minutes ago & some flaring at a mirror)....

So, is "she" still a "Pearl", or should I name it something else?
Also, all 5 fish were purchased as "over halfmoon plakats". Is this true? Is this fish also a "rosetail" by chance?

Is there an eggspot? Should still stand out on a white fish, it's her button. Lol :)

I don't see an egg spot. I've seen them before on pet store bettas, but "Pearl" is pretty darn white, so I can't tell.

Wow, I think it's safe to say the "she" is now a he. Must have been a late bloomer. I love how his eyes kind of look green.
I saw a White Dragon HMPK today at petco and Pearl reminds me of him. Random I know, but still.

Regardless of gender (although those would be mighty long fins for a girl) (s)he's gorgeous! I've wanted a white betta since I saw one online. Yours is SO pretty <3 I might be a little jealous haha :D

look at the betta am suppose to get today:

it could be possible she is still female, check her "beard" when she flares. and tell us how big it is, even though how big her fins might be, she still kinda flared like a female in the pics XD

That is a male and not an HMPK either. He's also not a rosetail, he is a very nice HM, or close to HM anyways. He's very pretty.
