Baby bettas

I have been hearing a lot about the baby bettas, and finally saw them at my Petco this week. They are so very small and fragile looking to me. At least these ones were anyways. I was going to buy one, but opted to buy my new betta instead. I wasn't sure just how to care for something so small. I kind of feel bad that they are selling these fish so young as most people have no idea how to take care of adult fish let alone baby ones like these.

It got me to thinking about asking you all how hard do you find it to raise these babies. Are they any harder or just as easy to take care of as the adult bettas. I was also wondering if anyone had thought about buying several of these babies to start a sorority tank. I would assume that if they are this young that they would get along better and it would be easier to start a sorority with them so they could grow up together. I would think there wouldn't be as many issues.

I would appreciate any input or thoughts you all have.

Thank you

I bought one on the 26th. I chose the healthiest looking one and she's doing great. She is my first betta ever. Eats like a pig

nope, don't know a thing about her and the green is (I think) just an effect from the camera flash because to the naked eye she is just brownish so far. I say "she" because she looks like a girl so far. But they say it could go either way, won't know for about a month or more.

Just posted 2 videos of her in this thread:

The thing I find hard about youngens is that they're small thus have limitations to what they could eat. Plus they're still easily stressed which can be deadly. Other than that, I treat them the same way as I would treat an adult..... well maybe not - I feed them more and give them more water changes.
