Brand new Betta mom!

Hi there!

I've been looking into setting up some sort of aquarium for a long time, but only yesterday did I finally bring home my very first fishbaby -- Mephisto the halfmoon Betta! I'm afraid that I'm already hooked!

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself here before I began posting elsewhere! (:

I most certainly will not be scared off by any opinions -- I'm here to soak in as much information as possible, after all! I want my little guy to have a nice, long, healthy life!

Welcome to the betta addiction. As you've probably figured out, there is no cure :)

I've definitely figured that out, Romad! I was originally thinking about getting a big community tank later on down the road, but I have a feeling I'm going to end up with a few more Betta tanks, instead! :P

Unless you're truly limited on space, go for both :) I started out with a 45 gallon hex. Then came the 5 gallon betta tank. Then came 6 betta tanks 2.5 gallons each and then came the 75 gallon community tank (replaced the 45 gallon hex).

It's amazing how you can manage to squeeze just one more tank in somewhere

I've really got to update my pics. Maybe by the end of the week.
