What's up betta lovers ?!?!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!
We just got back from Petsmart and I spent soo much $$! We just got 2 new bettas :):) So I thought instead of just hanging out and reading y'alls stuff, I should join and chat!

A lil about myself:
I have been married for 10 yrs. We have 3 beautiful kids, 2 girls(9,7)and 1 boy (2). Our oldest daughter had a betta and he died a few days ago. She wanted another one and we went Friday and both her and her sister picked out one. Then I fell in love with all the beautiful pics and I had to get a betta myself. But as many of y'all know, ya can't get just one. LOL I ended up getting 2 fish and all the fixins.

Here is what we have so far. I hope I attached the pic right...
The top 2 are my daughters and the bottom 2 are mine. I will take a pic of the fish in their new homes later :) I am open to any suggestions or ideas, so lay'em on me.
I look forward to meeting y'all and talking about my new love!!

Welcome!! You'll find this a great site to learn. Your tanks look nice for a single betta. You'll hear from others who will tell you they do need heaters, as they are tropical. You'll need to keep an eye on ammonia and nitrate levels. That may have been what caused the death of your daughter's fish. If you do regular water changes, and don't over feed, you should be okay.

Thanks :) Yes heaters are the next thing on my list. I am going tomorrow and getting them. I am also going to get 2 more tanks like the bottom ones, for my girls fish.
