Tetra weird behavior

We put 3 pristella tetras 4 days ago.they usually hang together near the tank middle at the bottom.today 1 seems to be separating itself from the other 2 and hovering closer to the top in the corners.the other 2 are still at the bottom as usual.is this something to worry about?tank is 37 gallon.3 small fake plants.2 medium size fake plants.aerator stone and large fake log.

Is he floating with his nose pointed up at the water line?

Here's a quick fact sheet on them, looks like you'll need to have 6+ for them to feel safe and secure and keep sickness away.

Seems very off to be to have one floating around by himself, as Tetras usually stick to a group and I'm reading that these type like to hide.

You may get better responses if you head over to our parent site, www.tropicalfishkeeping.com and ask over there. It's mostly Betta fish owners over here. Some of us do have tropical tanks, I have owned tetras but never these. Usually when one of mine separated from the pack, it's usually when they are sick.

No no not stupid at all!! I'm sure someone would come along and be able to help you over here, but I wouldn't want you waiting too long just in case right? Never a stupid question! You could always stick around and let us warp you into getting a few Bettas
