Charlie!

Here is Charlie! I got him on my sad day trip to PetSmart the morning after I discovered Max had jumped out his tank. I returned that tank and walked back around to the Bettas, not expecting to find much. The VT were kind of frumpy looking, although I hope they get better and find a good home. Max was the spunkiest out of that bunch. At least they removed the dead one! They had some CT, no females, and then some new ones I've never seen before on the second shelf. These were Dragon Scales and all were male, or so I was told. They had a pretty blue one, two silvery ones (one was smaller and one larger), a pale sad one, and some other pale one that wasn't that interactive either. I was torn between the silvers and blue. they flared at each other while I was trying to decide. I ended up getting the larger silver one, who is now known as Charlie. I was thinking of Charlie Sheen at the time because he was showing such an attitude. He went into the house on the last pic. He flared at me when he came out. I missed both shots of him coming in and out.

thanks for the comments! he does like to think he is a little tough guy, flaring all the time. I have to keep the tank light off sometimes because he angers himself too much.

question: I don't know if it is visible to you, but can anyone see those brighter white spots on his right side, not far from his head/gills? I was trying to make out what they are, but it's inconclusive. his behavior doesn't seem to be affected.
