What I've learned

I have been keeping a beta for about 4 months. My current boy(subzero) decided he is a loner. He has killed all the ghosties in his tank. And he build his first bubble nest! But he doesn't do what other betas do. He only flared once and that was at the TV remote. If he killed his shrimpy roommates what is safe to put in with him?

shrimps are often just expensive snacks for them. if you really want something in there with him, try a trio of Neon tetras, just to see. but, be prepared to remove them if he gets super aggressive. x:

but, what size tank does he have?

personally, i love corry cats as a tank mate for my bettas. they're very docile and you don't have to worry about any fin biting. what size tank do you have? i wouldn't suggest and fish tankmates in a tank less than 5g
