Question

my male betta is not picking up the eggs :(
and its been 3 days since the female had eggs.
are they dead?

Well, there's two options here- either the eggs aren't fertilized and he's leaving them there because he knows they aren't going to hatch, or he's a bad betta dad and is ignoring them. The first option is more likely the case. Remove him, recondition the pair, and try it again in a couple weeks. If the same thing happens, you know that he isn't suited to guard the nest. Good luck!!
