okay!! thank you so much!! i hope it works. :[ but i've noticed him doing the strange floating on the tip of his nose thing... :[ i'm not sure if he's gonna make it. i guess we'll see. :[

i think he gets worse as time goes on. he seems to be gasping for air now. he's so pale i can almost see his organs now too.

i'll try to. he won't stay in one place though when ever i come over! i also noticed a slight fuzzy patch on him.

here's 2 pictures that i could try to get to show maybe he isn't as see through as i thought. but pictures are hard to show that.

columnaris?

I'm not an expert but I think if you see a fuzzy white patch on him and he's got fin deterioration it sounds like columnaris.
An anti-biotic appropriate for gram negative pathogens should be used from what i've read. And an anti-bacterial food if he's still eating, make sure it's for gram negative organisms. Keep his tank at around 76 or so. Columnaris thrives in warm tanks in the 80s. This is just from the research of done on it.
I've had no experience treating for columnaris.

see now the fuzzy patch is no where to be found. his fins are rapidly falling apart. and he is more and more floating on his nose with his tail to the surface. :[ i did lower my temp though. we will see. :[

The fuzzy patch might have been his slime coat...since it disappeared, I'm thinking it's not columnaris.

Any change?
