Do pectoral fins heal?

My betta was swimming around his tank and then got freaked out by something. He spazed out and swam into the side of his tank, now he's not using his left pectoral fin to swim..Will the fin heal, and is there anything I can do for the fish?

I was just looking at my fish and he seem to have something on his scales on a couple parts of his body it kind of looks like a film coating, because it doesn't look like ick, and he doesn't seem to be acting any different than not using his left pectoral fin. Should I be concerned with that too, or should I just keep an eye on it?

It may be just a reaction to the new source water since he is new....just keep an eye on it for now....

In a 1gal unfiltered tank I would recommend twice weekly water change...1-50% and 1-100% to maintain water quality

Be sure and dose the dechlorinator for the full volume of the tank even with the 50% as a general rule...

Love to see some pics....

Okay, thank you ...I've taken some pics of him I just don't know how to up load them yet XD... I'm also thinking about getting him some more plants for his tank and maybe a decoration for him to hide in concidering how much room is in the tank I don't think I'll be able to have a lot of things in there.

Just an update on zepher's condition: he's doing great now he's using his left pec fin and is very happy(i used some aq salt in his tank cuz he got what looked like a fuzzy patch on his body)but his tail decided to randomly split from the middle down to the end so instead of using bettafix(which i thought was good)i went and got aquarium salt and will change his water today and start treating his tail with the salt
