My plan is not yet to breed my betta. My first male had died while he was caring for the fry. This spawned should not have taken place, female jumped out of the container and now I have my first batch not very big. The reason why I joined this forum to get advice and guidance and not to be pressed down.
You have to start somewhere and learn from your mistakes and it should go better. I used to breed fish for many years but took a break and decided to try bettas. I have always been lucky on my success with breed fish a variety of Tanganyikan Cichlids.
My first success was breeding Brichardis I had a 2m tank with thousands and had to sell of to our LPS.
