Yep that's dropsy but it's far from the worst case I've seen be restored. Very glad you found the Kanaplex! Add epsoms salts too (pure 100% no additives) . How much is in great controversy. I've seen practically everything under the sun suggested. I've never used over 1/2 tsp per gallon and anything greater than 1 tsp is usually used for short dips and not prolonged periods.

Just in case you're not sure how to break down for 1 gallon.. measure 5 tablespoons of aquarium water in a cup along with one measure of the Kanaplex. Dissolve fully then take 1 tablespoon and put it in the 1 gallon quarantine. You'll need to treat for 2 weeks with this method (I know the tube says no more than 3 doses but trust me it's fine. I've used up to 30 days before for suspected fish tb treatment. Since you're doing daily 100% changes just redose with the water change. You'll want to mix it up fresh each time and not save the mixture to reuse several days.

Ok thanks I almost did it much differently. He's in now so now I wait. How often should I feed him during the treatment process?

Well, unfortunately he didn't make it through the night. Sometime between 4-11am he passed away. Thank you so much for your help though, I greatly appreciate it :') At least I know he's not struggling anymore. R.I.P
