Zorro seems to be getting worse - please help!

I've been having issues with my new beta, but thanks to the advice on the forum I'm pretty sure it's ick.

Zorro is now on his second day of salt treatment (1 teaspoon every 12 hours) with 100% water changes and his white spots seem to have moved, but since his water change two hours ago he has been acting very strangely. He has been very slow (highly unusual) and lying on the bottom. He has also been rubbing against tank ornaments and spending time in his cave - normally he just ignores it.

Current conditions are:
28l/7 gallon tank, under gravel heater
27c/80f temperature
Stress coat and stress Zyme conditioners
1 teaspoon salt per gallon - to be doubled in 12 hours

Does anyone have any advice? Do I just continue with the salt treatments and hope?

That sounds like a lot of salt, to me. I would try an Ick medication. For some reason I can't think of any names of meds right now. lol

I'm pretty sure he has ick. Like Dramaqueen said, that is alot of salt! Ick medicine can be found at almost any pet store. Good luck with Zorro!
