Question A female at the store with a very LONG body?!

Yesterday I was at PetCo after finishing up my volunteer job for the day (cleaning up after the cats), and I was looking at the bettas and this one female caught my attention...She had a very noticeably longer body than the other bettas. I was worried it is a defect and that it's having a negative effect on her health, so I was wondering if anybody else has seen something like this and if they knew anything about it. I'll bring my camera to PetCo tomorrow and try to get pictures if she's still there.

Sounds like a possible defect, a betta who maybe should have been culled, but those who breed them would know better than me. I'd ask if she was having a hard time swimming but it just occurred to me that who could tell when they're stuck in those tiny cups.
