I love the way little Circe, half the length and a quarter of the width of the big girls, acts like she is one of the big ones now. It took her a while to settle in, but now she thinks she is so badass. =p

I love the way shrimp seem like they teleport when something startles them. How does something that basically swims with just its tiny little stick legs move so fast?

Love my betta's sweet temper... Acts like I just made his day when I come up to his tank (wriggle wriggle wriggle, zip zip zip), follows me around, hangs out on whatever side of his tank I'm on like, "see me i'm still here look at me!" Never flares at me or bites but so curious when I have to put my hand in his tank (which I try to avoid, but had underwater filter issue recently) he swims over to my hands, nudges them, noses around whatever i'm doing... I have to distract him somewhere else cause he gets underfoot like a puppy, tries to swim between my fingers... It's really cute-
