How do you get a betta to eat?

He still isn't eating much. I hope the little guy doesn't starve himself to death. But at least he's spending more time at the end of his log looking outside. And I may sometimes see him first thing in the morning. Curiously, he does not seem alarmed when I catch him outside. Needless to say, I try to hold as still as possible.

But he's eating something right? Hmm. It can take a new betta quite a while to settle in and eat, so this isn't unusual. Keep trying. Fish can go up to two weeks without eating anything at all (not that they should but they can) so he probably won't starve. If he hasn't eaten in another week, post back. Good luck and I'll keep my fingers crossed that he eats.
