Feeding...

Why should your betta be fed at the same time each day? Is there a reason?

Good question. While we're on the topic of feeding schedules, what do experienced keepers recommend with respect to occasional fasting?

Glad we agree, sir! Now if only we could answer each others questions we'd be in good shape!

I'm not too sure about the first question...

However, as for the second question - they need fasting just so it gives them time to digest and eliminate all the food they've had in their system.

Makes sense. How often and for how long do you recommend fasting them? Do they become more agitated/aggressive while fasting?

Usually just once a week.
