Binx!

She's my first female and she's so fiesty! Binx already has a wonderful personality. She has also been colouring up nicely, showing some blue in her tail. I wonder if she will marble?
Rochambeau, my PK, is quite taken with her . Binx is a total flirt.

You can't see it really well in the pictures, but she has a gold splotch on the very top of her head. Makes me think that Binx is a blonde.

she has really darkened up to a deeper yellow with black highlights in her fins; she looks almost like a bumblebee!

New pics! The flash really washes her out; she's a much brighter yellow in person. Also, I never noticed until now, but one of her ventral fins is shorter than the other! Roch doesn't seem to mind though.
Another interesting note: Both Roch and Binx are quite enamored with each other; he flares and shows off, she follows head down and flares also. However, he won't build a nest and she won't bar up or get eggy.
I don't plan on breeding them but neither one shows the typical markers to breed. Could be that they are to old? They are both pet store bettas and I've already had Roch for 7 months and Binx for 1. Just curious I guess...
