Axolotl's?

1 adult should have a 20 gallon long, 3 in a 40 gallon(preferred bigger though) Ive done tons of research and asked allot of questions on caudata.org :) I got my eggs. One has hatched(out of 9 eggs there are 2 fertile, so 7 good eggs, one has hatched and another looks like it will any day now) :) I just love these guys lol. and now I know how to hatch BBS if I ever get a change to breed bettas!

Oh cute! I love golden albinos! Good luck with them!! :) I'm going to be ordering mine a bit older than eggs I think, but I'm still excited! I sort of like the sound of hatching my own, but I'm nervous about being a first timer and doing it! Not to mention, I wouldn't want to get extra just in case some eggs didn't hatch and have them ALL hatch and have no room for them!

Maybe someday when I have more space for tanks!

lol yeah, this is my first time with eggs, but I havnt lost any :) (well they sent about 30 eggs that was too close to hatching and they all died during shipping sadly, this time she sent eggs at a younger stage and I havnt lost any out of 7 good eggs so far) sd long as you get down hatching baby brine shrimp then your good to go! there temps need to be quiet a bit cooler conpaired to bettas but its no biggie :) It appears there are 4 golden albinos and possibly 3 leusicistic. The Leusictic are my favorite so fingers crossed :)

Sorry about the first batch of eggs! It's so impressive that they can be sent anyway! I'm glad your new ones are hatching nicely.

So what are your plans for when they are all adults? Each one gets a 20 gallon, or a big community axie tank?

leucistic ones are my favorite too! about how big are they when they hatch? (once again, SO jealous right now, darn CA and our stupid laws, can't even keep a damned gerbil)

Well I have a 40 gallon breeder aquarium and a 29 gallon to start with :) May pick up another 30 gallon sometime. 3 in the 40, 2 in the 29, and 2 more in the future 30 :)

And I think its a dumb law, axies dont harm anything lol. There just so darn cutee, I hope the rest of the 5 develope ok and hatch, and they all survive to adulthood. Ive heard of people losing them 2-3 weeks after hatching so im really hoping for the best
