Keep an eye on him and let me know if he bloats up again after eating. I'm beginning to wonder if his large belly is due to him eating and he just had to digest. The freeze-dried bloodworms may not be the healthiest for him so if we could get him on to pellets, the better.

I think I may send Devon to the store tonight to hunt down some garlic juice for me. >> I've tried everything else for his pellets. Breaking them up didn't work either. Also thinking about getting him some brine shrimp as well. He definitely needs a more varied diet to stay healthy.

:P Picky little Hannibal. But a lot of bettas can be that way. One of mine was. I never could get him to eat pellets, the brat. The brine shrimp would be a great addition because it acts as a mild laxative.
