my snuggles is a beast

so i put my pair together a few hours ago and my male (snuggles) went right to work, this is his progress so far..

his nest is double that size now.. only problem is my female looks like shes not interested, she darts at the glass and keeps trying to escape the glass chimney. i hope my male isnt doing all this work for nothng

On one of my spawns, the female was so afraid of my male that she tried to jump out of the tank. Never got a spawn from them. Best of luck though.

well my pair isnt really doing anything, theyre not fighting and theyre not mating, the male will stay bu the nest and the female will hide, every once in a while she will go up to the nest either swim away or get chased off by the male... should i give them more time or change females? theyve been going this for a day now..

It's very normal for bettas to go up to 4 days and then spawn. Give them more time and she may come around. This spawn of dragons is now on their 3rd day and the male JUST decided to make a nest yesterday around 10:00pm.

Anyway Just give them some time, they will come around. Does she have vertical bars?
