Meet Young Money:P & new tank setup!

I never posted the picture of my new lil buddy young money! & i just got a new tank! its 15 g & inserted 2 dividers (which i had to custom cut since they come on larger 29-55 gal sizes only) heated & filtered! i added real plants as long as 3 fakes. (testing out my green thumb) Overall i think its a great buy at petco! (39.99) for tank/filter/hood/&heater

I love it! although I would warn you about those metal clips, they rust in the water really fast you may want some other type of anchor for your dividers. I had them and they rusted fast.

Very nice set up, and very nice Betta. At one point I had been looking at that very same 15-gallon kit at Petco, considering it for my girls at the time.

A little warning though: bamboo tends to die after a while being fully submerged (i.e. having its leaves submerged). I'm not sure exactly what you can do to keep them in the tank but to keep the leaves out of the water -- perhaps someone else has a suggestion. I've seen them put in terra cota pots but I don't know how well that works in an aquarium.

I'd lower the water level in your tank. That'll keep the leaves in air. Young Money is GORGEOUS!!!! <3 I love your tank and it's amazing that you got a 15 for the price of a 10! Augh I want another tank so badly! D:

Yeah, bamboo isnt actually a true aquatic plant. It is shocking how many plants the major pet stores have labeled as aquatic plants when they aren't.
Also, if you would like some advice on keeping aquatic plants, i can give you a few pointers :D
